In The Book of Voices, the prophet Elisheva channels the voices of 49 characters from the Hebrew Bible. This website contains pages for each of the 49 voices, plus a Voice page for Elisheva herself. Each page contains:

• A one-line Synopsis of the voice's story.

• A Context section showing what had happened in the Biblical narrative since the previous story.

• A Reference link to the Biblical text quoted at the beginning of the story, showing both the original Hebrew text and an English translation.

• An Aftermath section showing events that occured after the end of the story that shed light on it.

• Notes from the author about the background to the story, how it was written, and issues that the story raises.

• An area for Comments directly concerning the story.

• A discussion question, labeled The Voice in Your Life, relating the issues in the story to situations that you may have encountered in your own life, to help your reflect on and consider how they had affected you, followed by a link to a forum where you can discuss it with others.

(Some of the 49 Voices pages have not yet been finished. I'm working on them in the order that they appear in the book, But all have the Synopsis and Reference parts, and links to comment on them in the forums. They'll all be done soon.)
